The
Beauty of Nature inspires the wearable art I create. Each
piece is hand painted with plants, pigments, and/or clay
from the earth. The felting process used has been practiced
by indigenous people throughout the world for centuries.
Embellishments of gems, precious stones and silk ribbon
are chosen with care to enhance each art piece to remind
us of the beauty of our surroundings.
My life experiences have involved degrees in Fine Arts,
Education, Art Therapy, Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy,
and Expressive Arts Therapy, all for the purpose of sharing
Art to nurture and honor the Creative Spirit. It gives me
pleasure in knowing that others may wear my Art and feel
the passion that went into making it. A reminder to ourselves
to care for the earth so that our children and their children
may live in a world filled with Beauty.
